Finally we started our blog... This means that we are getting
closer to the biggest adventures of our lives!
After a great experience in the United
States we have decided that we need to discover other realities and to find our
purpose. Therefore, we are going to start a year trip to Asia to travel and do volunteer work. We want to create a positive impact on the lives of the people
from the countries that we will be visiting and learn from them important “Lessons
for life”. With this decision we hope we can grow as individuals and as a
couple so that we can be better professionals and also better parents, whenever
that happens…
Even though the trip only starts in September, we decided to
create this blog now because this week is the closure of an important chapter
of our lives. We will be leaving the United States in five days and we are
getting hit by a mix of emotions. We are happy because we will have the opportunity
to be with our family and friends in Portugal for three months, but at the same
time, we are nostalgic because we had the opportunity to meet a lot of excellent
people here in the States and it’s the time for a “see you later” (never a
goodbye).
Hopefully you will be able to follow us
through the blog, the peak of the activity will start in September but we will
try to post some updates while in Portugal.
For all the friends here in US, please
know that you will be very missed and we seriously hope to see you
again!
